037 A Servants Heart
On this episode of Black Girls Eating, Candace and Tanorria are joined by Indiana Senate candidate Andrea Hunley.
She shares her passion to serve her community and why every vote counts.
“For two decades I have been committed to serving children and families in Indianapolis as a public school teacher and principal. Now, as an extension of that commitment to our community, I am running for State Senate. I will champion a better quality of life by listening to and working alongside the diverse and vibrant people, businesses, and neighborhoods that make up District 46.
For ten years I led a staff of 50 employees and oversaw a $4M budget. I know first-hand the importance of a reliable job, quality healthcare, access to transportation, strong neighborhoods with thriving businesses, and education at the center of communities.
I am a Black woman, community leader, mother, teacher, adopted daughter, and advocate.” -Andrea Hunley
