Ruchi is a full-time speech-language pathologist at a local hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She is also a certified tea sommelier and the founder and face of Chai High Tea, a small South Asian women-owned business centered around sharing chai traditions from around the world including family recipes. Ruchi has a special interest in decolonizing tea through education and loves learning about history through a culinary lens. Ruchi started this brand in 2019 with her mother, Manjari, who works full-time in an elementary school.
